Long Island City

Long Island City is a neighborhood of the borough of Queens in New York City. It is located in the opposite side of the East River, overlooking Manhattan. The original gantry cranes from the 1920s (newly restored) can still be seen here.

east coast winter

A new year, a new me?

I am taking my time just smiling and observing the new scenes and people around me, which I sometimes feel that these moments are fleeting. I am learning to live in the moment and enjoy it for what it is, at least a smile everyday by finding something quirky.
