When I was home in California last week, I finally had gotten to see my boxes that has arrived from the Netherlands via sea freight. The last I saw those boxes was in August, 5 months ago.
I am taking my time just smiling and observing the new scenes and people around me, which I sometimes feel that these moments are fleeting. I am learning to live in the moment and enjoy it for what it is, at least a smile everyday by finding something quirky.
For awhile whenever I stare at the New York-Manhattan skyline from a distance, I have to pinch myself if I was really here. When I stared at it long enough on a day when a friend and I went out on a day-long photography excursion capturing the skyline from different vantage points from dusk til night time...then it hit me.
The High Line Park is a former elevated freight railroad along the lower west side of Manhattan and is located on Manhattan's West Side. It runs from Gansevoort Street in the Meatpacking District to 34th Street, between 10th & 11th Avenues.

As I was busying myself with tying up lose ends in August and stressful as it was, when things are going on simultaneously..Here is a basic checklist to consider:
I have a new found appreciation with all my past experiences, good or bad. I have to keep moving forward and keep looking towards the future. I underestimated my resiliency despite everything.
This post is not about what the Dutch diet mainly consists of which mainly consists of bread, cheese, and cold cuts for breakfast and lunch while potatoes and meat are usually for dinner. Soups...now soups are mainly for the weekend :)
